Synopsis | Will it Snow for Christmas? | Korean Drama 2009


Cha Kang Jin is the son of barmaid, Cha Chun Hee. His life is difficult as he gets into fights and has to watch other people push his mother around yet he can’t do anything to stop it. He meets Han Ji Wan when they were teens but they weren’t able to continue their relationship as Ji Wan ran away after her older brother’s death. He meets Ji Wan 8 years later when he’s attending her engagement ceremony to Park Tae Joon. However, he is heartbroken as Ji Wan pretends to not remember him at all.

Story

Go Soo plays a man who was brought up by his grandmother in difficult circumstances and shows an “intelligent, masculine appeal.” His character had shared a young love with the girl played by Han Ye-seul, but through “sad circumstances,” they were forced to separate. She is the daughter of a famed doctor of Oriental medicine in a small village, although she’s always being compared to and passed over for her smarter, brighter older brother. She and Go Soo eventually reunite in their fateful love as adults.

Synopsis

Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band “The Stupid.” Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but in reality he is cold, lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won.

Lee Kyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won’s grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy.

Trying to live up to her grandfather’s expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of “The Stupid”, she was forced to go to the band’s concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

Although Yu Kyung is in love with Tak Goo due to her ambitions, she got trapped into a loveless marriage after she threw away love in place of getting power.

He was supposed to be his father’s successor if his half-brother, Tak Goo didn’t appeared.

A legend in the baking industries.
He chooses his eldest son, Tak Goo as his successor despite the fact that he is his illegitimate son due to his inborn baking talents.
However, his decision causes a rift and hatred between Tak Goo and his other three half-siblings as his wife plots to take back everything that was given to Tak Goo.




Kim Tak Goo’s girlfriend, Yang Mi Seon (Lee Young Ah)

Yang Mi Seon is a Patissier who works along with Tak Goo after his inheritance was taken away from him as both of them are learning their baking skills from her grandfather.
Although she thinks that Tak Goo as her rival at first, she falls in love with Tak Goo due to his nice personality.
Being the complete opposite of Yu Kyung, Mi Seon values her friendship, love and family above anything else and is willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of others. Although her kind virtues eventually captured the heart of Kim Tak Goo, she is also subjected to the bullying of Shin Yu Kyung.

Synopsis

Plot

Jin-Gook (TaecYeon) is a gifted dancer, but a troubled student at school. The director of Kirin High School of Art ((Bae Yong-Jun)) recommends to Jin-Gook to enroll at his school. There, Jin-Gook's talents blossom and he now dreams of becoming a global star.

Jason (Wooyoung) comes to Kirin High after receiving the top score for new applicants. He comes from abroad and shows outstanding skills as a dancer.

Ko Hye-Mi (Bae Suji) is the most popular girl at Kirin High. She carries herself as a confident girl, but inside hides a sad past. She dreamed of becoming a world renown classical vocalist, but after the collapse of her family she had no choice but to enter Kirin High School of Art. She is loved by Song Sam-Dong and Jin-Gook.

Yoon Baek hye (Eun Jung) looks up to Ko Hye-Mi, who appears to have everything. They soon become rivals.
